| Education funding must be addressed because it currently places most of the burden on small towns. The state needs to provide more funds to ensure a quality education, the current rate is not sufficient. This could be paid for with legalization, regulation and taxation of cannabis. Restoring the state education fund from lottery could also help. Allowing school districts to negotiate their own health care costs as a collective would reduce districts' costs. Opioids: education, intervention, and help for the addicts with strong penalties for the dealers. Increased funding for rehabilitation and mental health clinics. Paid w/cigarette & alcohol tax. |
